Welcome to the Chinese Brush Painting Booth in A-PAL Chinese New Year Celebration Event! At this booth, you will learn to make your very own Chinese painting by using the Chinese brush with step-by-step instructions. Although traditional Chinese painting is usually done with “The Four Treasure” of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy (Chinese brush, rice paper, ink stick and ink slap), we will replace the ink stick and ink slap with tempera paint and rice paper with plane newsprint paper to make it friendlier for younger children.
