Chinese New Year 2014

Our 2014 Chinese New Year event was a success! Mayor Dennis Coombs was among our keynote speakers. How privileged we feel to count him among our many supporters. In 2014, we celebrated the Year of the Wood Horse. The Wood Horse (1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014) has a special place among the members of the Horse sign. It is considered one of the most patient and creative members of the Horse sign. With gifts of understanding and a calm demeanor, the Wood Horse is very successful in cooperative social situations. The Wood Horse also has a bit of an adventurous side and is not afraid to commit fully to the unknown.
