Splendid Chinese Hanfu Fashion Show        by Qi Zhou Design Studio

Hanfu, the traditional clothing of the Han Chinese ethnic group, has immense history, spanning 4000 years – from the legendary Yellow Emperor all the way to the end of the Ming Dynasty (1300-1644). As one of 56 ethnic groups in China, the Han ethnic group represents 96% of the Chinese population.

Throughout China’s history, Hanfu has adapted to many time periods with its evolution reflected in its distinct style. In addition to appearance, these garments were an indication of the social hierarchy within Chinese society. Outside of China, Hanfu has also significantly influenced the styles of traditional costumes in countries such as Japan, Korea, and Vietnam.

Today, Qi Zhou Design Studio offers a glimpse into the unique attitudes and lifestyles with the beauty, mystery, and fantasy. We hope you enjoy the presentation of Tang Dynasty HanFu.
